½” model LPGPA with Vacuum Breaker and Thermostatic Air Vent

Description

For saturated steam to 50 psig

Every steam coil or steam heat exchanger needs both a vacuum
breaker and a thermostatic air vent properly located and correctly piped.  This assembly helps do both. The Kadant
Johnson vacuum breaker is combined with the Armstrong thermostatic air vent in
an easy to install ½” assembly

The Kadant Johnson vacuum breakers set the standard for low pressure steam applications. They combine tight closure with instant response, large air venting capacity, and a design for easy installation and long service life. The successful combination of the spring action on a round ball and the soft resilient seat assures positive bubble-tight closing, even at very low differential pressures. Since only slight spring pressure is needed for seating, the ball comes off the soft seat at a very low vacuum condition, providing almost instantaneous vacuum protection, allowing positive condensate drainage under all operating conditions.

An Armstrong thermostatic air vent provides automatic air and non-condensable gas venting. This angle-style thermostatic air vent has a balanced-pressure thermostatic element with a high quality multiple-convolution bellows, a cast bronze body and a stainless steel seat. The valve and seat are renewable in-line.

You’ll enjoy all these familiar benefits with the LPGPA. You’ll find are all the features of a quality vacuum breaker combined with a thermostatic air vent integrated in a time-saving assembly.
