Heat exchanger tube bundles can last as long as 20 years, however they can also fail after just 2 or 3 years. There are a number of reasons why they fail including time, corrosion, erosion, and water hammer, however the impact of the failure in potentially shutting down a system is what can cause the most financial damage.

At Campbell-Sevey, we recommend taking a proactive approach to minimize potential downtime and system failure. To do so make sure you inspect your heat exchangers regularly.

To help ensure you select the right tube bundles if your system does fail, Campbell-Sevey is providing you a Tubesheet and Bundle Measuring Guide and Worksheet courtesy of Thrush. Simply click this link to see the downloads.

Our highly-skilled team at Campbell-Sevey can also work with to ensure your system is operating at peak efficiency and help minimize tube bundle failure. Contact us for a free assessment.
